1. Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, Visa and Mastercard
2. How long will the repairs take?
It all depends on the extent of the damage. On average, small jobs will take approximately 2-3 days, depending on parts availability. Most other jobs require 1 working day per every 5 hrs of body, paint, frame or mechanical labor. Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) takes approximately one hour per panel, depending on the size of the dent.
3. Does your shop do insurance work?
Yes. We work with all insurance carriers and are more than happy to help with any claim.
4. My Insurance Company has suggested I use one of their “Preferred Shops”. Can I still bring my car to Don’s?
Of course. By law, you have the right to go to the repair shop of your choice. Your insurance company cannot require you to go to any specific shop. (California Insurance Code 758.5)
5. Do I really need more than one estimate?
No. By law, you are not required to obtain more than one estimate/appraisal per claim.
6. Do you use factory paint?
All our paint is mixed to factory specifications. Provided by a paint code located within the vehicle, we are able to mix any variation of color by any car manufacturer.
7. Do we use factory parts?
All replacement parts and pricing are for factory (OEM) parts unless otherwise arranged by the owner or insurance company.
8. How will I know my car is ready/finished?
Office personnel will give the customer updates on the status of their vehicle. This includes an approximate day and time the vehicle will be completed.
